Detecting remote code execution with Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics
We know that attackers can often use legitimate tools to take malicious actions. Recent incidents have been perpetrated using a known technique called Remote Code Execution (RCE) to spread malware inside a target network. This technique can be executed using legitimate tools such as WMIC and/or PSExec. However, what attackers may not know is that this technique can be detected with Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics (ATA).

Over the two-day conference, we helped many IT Professionals to identify on-the-spot Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions for the challenges they face like: email migration; reducing deployment times, automation, maximizing the effectiveness of their subscription, accelerating product delivery, building solutions on Azure, and more.
Server aliases for Azure Analysis Services
Server aliases for Azure Analysis Services allow users to connect to an alias server name instead of the server name exposed in the Azure portal. This can be used in the following scenarios: to migrate models between servers without affecting users, to provide friendly server names that are easier for users to remember, to direct users to different servers at different times of the day, and to direct users in different regions to instances of Analysis Services that are geographically closer, for example using Azure Traffic Manager.

Windows AutoPilot Documentation Update
A couple of changes were recently made to the Windows AutoPilot documentation. We realized that we were missing some pretty important details so that you can implement Windows AutoPilot end- to-end. Documentation now includes network connectivity requirements, OOBE branding, and multiple ways to manage and apply deployment profiles.
SharePoint Online and Bing Maps
A user was having some frustration integrating Bing Maps with SharePoint Online. Another contributor, Christopher Webb, was able to offer some guidance that helped resolve the issue.
Testing an updated web part, on a live SharePoint site, without affecting the existing version
Contributor Alan Trafford asked about making an updated web part look like a new web part for testing in SharePoint. MVPs Paul Keijzers and Andrew Koltyakov offered advice that answered his question to his satisfaction.
